Mask Monday: L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask Purify & Mattify

I love trying new face masks. I haven’t done one of these in a while but every other day last week I did this mask before I decided to wear makeup on Friday. I wanted to get the full use that it says it’s supposed to do. This is what gets you to buy the product.

“Indulgent. Transformative. Perfectly Clean. L’Oreal Paris Skin Experts have created a super-charged pure clay mask with the power of Eucalyptus to purify and mattify your skin in just 10 minutes. Our fresh, indulgent formula provides a soothing and refreshing spa-like experience, while powerful pure clays penetrate deep into pores to remove impurities. Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask addresses your shiny and oily skin to reveal clarified, mattified, and refreshed complexion. Immediately skin appears purified and healthier. Skin looks less shiny and excess oil is reduced. Pores seem tightened and less visible, without over-drying. Use After Use. Skin looks re-energized and refreshed. Skin complexion appears fresher. Skin is visibly healthier and more beautiful. *Suitable for All Skin Types.”

I have combination skin so I can say that the mask worked well. The smell of it isn’t horrible. I find it soothing. It is super cold going on and a little dab goes a long way. The packaging is nice and the amount is pretty decent for ten bucks. I also had a coupon that took three bucks off so look for coupons! While I had in on for the ten minutes I could feel a tingly feeling on my face so I knew it was working its magic. When I removed it my face felt so soft, clean, and refreshed. Now let’s talk about me wearing makeup. My skin definitely felt like a game changer. It says it’s mattifyingΒ and thats what it did. It didn’t make my face too dry. I went for a night out and did my makeup at five in the afternoon and it stayed through a night out at my favorite bar. This Houston weather is no joke and my makeup lasted me till 2AM. Β  I would recommend this product and they do have other ones that do different things so if you’re not into matte masks they do carry other ones.

until next time

lots of love,
