Just wanted to do a quick update on my food plan for the week and workout. So this week I am all about cardio. I run 2 miles then do other things around the gym that incorporate cardio. I still have 3 days that I do weights and on one of the days I workout bicep/tricep, another day I do back/shoulders, and then leg day. It’s getting easier I just want faster progress. I am slimming down I just need my weight to catch up. By the end of the month I need to lose another 15 pounds. So I have to workout extra hard and remind myself that even if I don’t meet my goal that I never need to give up.
Breakfast: Overnight oats. I’m kind of addicted to making them. They’re so easy and cheap. This week I switched it up by adding a tsp of peanut butter. So it’s still one cup of oats, 2 tbsp of granola, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp of coconut shavings, 1 tsp of chia seeds, 1 tsp of peanut butter, and 1/2 a banana. Believe it or not, this keeps me full for hours.
Lunch: Since I’m cracking down on eating clean I try not to do a heavy lunch. I’ll eat a piece of toast with avocado(didn’t get that on my picture because I don’t meal prep that), that has a lot of healthy fats. I’ll have a fruit cup that has pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, and a tsp of coconut shavings. I also cut up a bunch of cucumber so when I’m craving something I can just munch on that.
Dinner: I have a variety of veggies and quinoa. This week I did asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, 1/2 a red potato, and 1/2 a cup of mediterranean quinoa. I cut down from the beans for the rest of the month. I was just really gassy and my stomach just needed a break. This meal does keep me full.
My diet will be the same thing for the next 13 days. I try to switch it up when I can. I just don’t like to eat the same thing all the time. When I go out to eat like for example my sister wanted Red Lobster for her birthday, I ordered a side of broccoli and asparagus with rice pilaf as my meal. I always order according to my diet. This is now going on 6 weeks with no meat or dairy as my diet. It sounds a lot harder than it actually is. The total amount for all of this was under 30$ and that’s all my meals.
Until next time
lots of love,
